Kajian Proxemics Posisi Foto dalam Ritual Sembahyang Leluhur pada Keluarga Tionghoa Indonesia
Abstract
Dalam studi yang dilakukan oleh Karen Strassler (2010), disebutkan bahwa perkembangan fotografi di Indonesia tidak lepas dari aktivitas sosial, khususnya etnis Tionghoa Indonesia. Dalam aktivitas kesehari- an, ternyata praktik fotografi juga terus menerus hadir sejak lama. Artikel ini menguraikan keterlibatan foto sebagai bagian dari ritual sembahyang yang dilakukan. Selain itu, terdapat intensi untuk menge- tahui bagaimana foto sebagai artefak visual dimaknai dalam ritual tersebut dan bentuk komunikasi yang terjadi dalam interaksi yang terjadi dalam ritual tersebut.References
